A new permanent fixture on Sonic's chilled beverages list, Java Chillers are part of a line of premium coffee drinks that also include Lattes — both iced and hot — and Premium Roast coffee.

The drinks, which were introduced in March, are a blend of vanilla soft-serve ice cream and espresso. Customers can order them in Mocha, Caramel or Hazelnut flavors or in any combination of the three.

Price varies depending on region, and the drinks come in a 14-ounce regular size and a 20-ounce large version.

Sonic also offers the SONIC BOOM® option, which allows customers to order an extra shot of espresso in any of the coffee drinks.
