In July Krystal launched a new branded energy drink. The Krystal Blitz, which comes in a lemon berry flavor, is made to order with a proprietary brand of Monin syrups, created for Krystal, and lemon-lime soda for added flavor and carbonation. The Krystal Blitz also uses a proprietary syrup blend of energy boosts containing taurine, guarana, green tea extract and caffeine, which are ingredients that most guests expect to find in retail energy drinks.

The drink is available in a 20-ounce serving at all Krystal locations nationwide. The drink can be ordered as “Blitz on the rocks,” which is the drink over ice, or as “Blitz Energy Freeze,” which is a frozen version of the drink.

The Krystal Co. is based in Chattanooga, Tenn., and has approximately 384 restaurants in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.
