Bloomin’ Brands Inc. has promoted Danielle Vona to chief marketing officer, and she will serve on the executive leadership team, the company said Tuesday.
The Tampa, Fla.-based company, which owns the Outback Steakhouse, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Bonefish Grill, Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar and Tender Shack concepts, said Vona will oversee marketing and guide a team responsible for consumer insights, brand marketing, food and beverage development and field marketing.
Vona, left, earlier held senior marketing positions at PepsiCo and Sonic Drive-Ins. She returned to Bloomin’ Brands in 2019 as CMO for Outback Steakhouse; she earlier served in the same position at Carrabba’s Italian Grill.
“Danielle has been instrumental in the evolution of our marketing strategy, helping us shift to a more effective digital approach,” said David Deno, Bloomin’ CEO, in a statement. “Her consumer-centric expertise will bring renewed insight to the executive team.”
Bloomin’ Brands has more than 1,450 restaurants in 47 states, Guam and 20 other countries.
