Parent CB Holding sells 12 Bugaboo units, gets approval for Charlie Brown’s auction

A bankruptcy court judge on Friday approved the auction sale of CB Holding Corp.’s 12 remaining Bugaboo Creek Steak House units for $10.1 million to RRGK LLC.
RRGK, a company founded by the owners of Qdoba franchisee Capitol Q Restaurants LLC, bid for the Bugaboo units in Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts and New Hampshire after CB Holding filed for bankruptcy and closed about 18 Bugaboo Creeks in November.
Landry’s Restaurants Inc. had started the auction for the units with a $3 million bid. The RRGK deal is expected to close by April 21.
CB Holding, looking to shed all its properties, sold its seven Office Beer Bar & Grill locations to Villa Enterprises Ltd. for nearly $4.7 million in January.
