FOXBOROUGH Mass. Media conglomerate CBS Corp. said it has opened CBS Scene Restaurant & Bar, a 15,000-square-foot casual-dining and entertainment venue near Gillette Stadium, the home of the New England Patriots football team.

CBS' partner in the venture is The Kraft Group, a manufacturing and real estate development company led by Robert Kraft, owner of the Patriots. The Kraft Group also developed and owns the 1.3 million-square-foot Patriot Place upscale shopping center here, where the new restaurant is located.

CBS Scene, which opened Monday, sports a locally inspired menu of American dishes that was created by executive chef Brian Corbley. Menu prices range from $6.50 to $11.50 for appetizers and $14.75 to $29.50 for entrees.

The restaurant is housed in a three-story space and features more than 135 TV screens that show current and classic programs produced by CBS. The media company said the restaurant could accommodate 900 customers.

Les Moonves, president and chief executive of CBS Corp., said the new restaurant offers “the feel of a TV studio, a broadcast control room and fine dining all in one unique environment.”
