A recently published a report, “Fun Away From The Sun: Checking in With Eatertainment,” showed Coppell, Texas-based Dave & Buster’s foot traffic grew 6.9% year-over-year during the second quarter, which ended Aug. 6, and Main Event saw visits increase 4.7% during the same period.

Placer.ai’s data indicated that during weekends (Friday through Sunday, between August 2023 and July 2024), Dave & Buster’s saw more than 25% of its visitors coming from more than 30 miles away and almost 12% came from more than 100 miles away.

“Dave & Buster’s and Main Event have plenty of games for children – but with extensive drinks menus, they also decidedly cater to adults, offering both groups a much-needed opportunity to kick back, play some games, and enjoy a meal out with friends,” the report said.
