PORTLAND Ore. The family of the late Guss Dussin, founder of The Old Spaghetti Factory, has formed a restaurant company to develop new concepts.

Dussin’s son, Chris Dussin, is serving as president of The Dussin Group. The new venture is absorbing the family’s current restaurant holdings, which include the 41-unit Old Spaghetti Factory chain, formerly owned by OSF International, and a number of more upscale concepts that were owned by various family members. Those other concepts are Blue Sage Cafe, described by the concern as “a neighborhood restaurant serving American favorites with a Southwest flair”; Dussini Mediterranean Bistro; Fenouli, a French brasserie; and Lucier, characterized as “modern European.”

Chris Dussin represents the third generation in his family to create and operate restaurant concepts. Gus Dussin died in 2004.

Dussin Group is based here.
