CARROLLTON Texas T.G.I. Friday's restaurants said Monday that for a limited time it would feature 10 of its top-selling entrees at $9.99 each, a savings of almost $4 on some entrees.

The $9.99 entrees, available at that price through April 8, include bruschetta chicken pasta; prime rib stroganoff; Cajun shrimp and chicken pasta; sizzling chicken and shrimp; pepper-crusted pork chop; chipotle steak sandwich; an 8-ounce flat-iron steak; a 6-ounce petite sirloin; Jack Daniel’s chicken; and Friday’s shrimp.

Customers can add soup or a salad to the entrees for $1.99, Friday's said.

Friday's also said Monday it had e-mailed coupons to 730,000 members of its guest-recognition program offering a free appetizer or dessert up to an $8 value with the purchase of an entree.

“Our guests are looking for value now more than ever, but they can still count on Friday's for great flavors,” said Andrew Jordan, senior vice president of marketing for T.G.I. Friday's USA.

Friday's offer follows its "Buy One Entree, Get One Free" coupon promotion last month. Many casual-dining players lately have turned to discounts or coupons to lure in cash-strapped diners. Ruby Tuesday is offering a two-for-one entree coupon, and Outback Steakhouse recently introduced a menu of 15 meals for under $15 each.

Friday's is a division of Carlson Restaurants Worldwide Inc.
