GLENDALE Calif. Celebrating its 50th anniversary on July 7, IHOP Corp. on Monday launched the second phase of a state-inspired “Discover America” promotion with three new pancake dishes available through July 27.

All-American Red, White and Blueberry includes two buttermilk pancakes with strawberries, blueberry compote and whipped topping; Georgia Praline Peach Streusel features two buttermilk pancakes filled with praline pecans and topped with peach compote, cinnamon streusel, more pecans and whipped topping; and New York Cheesecake features two pancakes loaded with cheesecake pieces, topped with strawberries, powdered sugar and whipped topping. Combination plates start at $4.99 and include the choice of pancakes, two eggs any style and hash browns.

The summer-long promotion began June 2 with the first of three Discover America pancake flavors: Maine Blueberry, California Strawberry and Kansas Carrot Cake.

IHOP franchises and operates 1,353 restaurants in 49 states, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Canada and Mexico.
