HOUSTON Joe’s Crab Shack said Wednesday it was rolling out five new seafood items to all of its 114 locations.

The new items at Joe's Crab Shack include:

-Snapper Pontchartrain, made with blackened snapper smothered in mushroom sauce and topped with grilled shrimp.

-Seafood Enchiladas, which includes corn tortillas wrapped around shrimp, crab and cheese and served on a black beans and rice.

-Crispy Snapper, which features snapper covered in seasoned bread crumbs and served with fries and coleslaw.

-Blackened Shrimp BLT Sliders, made with blackened shrimp and applewood-smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato and remoulade sauce.

-Crab Cake Sliders, made with crab cakes, lettuce and tomato and served with remoulade sauce.

Joe’s Crab Shack, like many other restaurant chains, is promoting its gift cards by offering $5 in bonus bucks with the purchase of each $25 card.

Joe's Crab Shack Holdings Inc., a subsidiary of private-equity group J.H. Whitney Capital Partners LLC of New Canaan, Conn., bought the chain from Landry’s Restaurants Inc. in 2006.
