Jyoti Lynch has announced her intent to resign from Red Robin as chief technology officer, effective October 24, to pursue other opportunities. According to an 8-K filing, she will serve as an advisor to the company as it searches for a successor and to ensure a smooth transition.

Until a successor is appointed, chief financial officer Todd Wilson will assume responsibility over Red Robin’s technology organization. The company noted that Lynch’s departure is not related to any disagreement and wished her well in her future endeavors.

Lynch joined the company in early June 2023, shortly after G.J. Hart came on board as chief executive officer and put into place a five-point “North Star” plan that includes bigger investments in the menu, cooking platforms, guest experience, and more. Red Robin’s most recent quarter, Q2, included a $1.5 million year-over-year increase in revenue to $300.2 million, and a same-store sales decline of 0.8%.
