ORLANDO Fla. Seasons 52, a casual-dining concept with a healthful bent, will introduce this spring two new offerings to its Mini Indulgences dessert line: German chocolate cake and strawberry shortcake.

The mini-desserts line currently includes nine offerings, in such flavors as Key Lime pie, old-fashioned carrot cake and Rocky Road, each boasting 250 calories and priced at $2.25.

The Mini Indulgences line was introduced in 2002 to deliver guests calorie-responsible desserts with great taste, said Clifford Pleau, executive chef of Seasons 52. New flavors are introduced each season.

Seasons 52 is owned by Orlando-based Darden Restaurants Inc. The chain has five units in Florida and two in Atlanta.
