MINNETONKA Minn. An on-site management company has acquired the 10-unit Timber Lodge Steakhouse casual-dining chain, according to a local news report. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Taher Inc., which operates three restaurants in addition to its on-site accounts, intends to reopen a Timber Lodge in Eden Prairie, Minn., according to The Business Journal, a business paper serving Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minn.

The sale is the latest change in a long string of major changes for the Timber Lodge chain. CKE Restaurants Inc., parent of the Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s burger brands, sold the concept in September 2004 for $8.8 million to a local concern called T. Lodge Acquisition, according to the Journal. The operator filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection less than two years later. The company emerged from bankruptcy last year.

Taher’s other holdings include the contracts for school and corporate cafeterias. The company is led by founder Bruce Taher.
