AMC Theatres expands food and beverage delivery from Uber Eats with DoorDash.AMC Theatres

AMC Theatres is partnering with DoorDash for delivery of its dine-in menu items at some of its 550 U.S. locations, the company said this week, and expects the deal to be nationwide by spring 2025.

The Leawood, Kan.-based AMC said it has expanded its food and beverage offerings and now is extending its home delivery beyond an existing agreement with Uber Eats.

“This new agreement between AMC and DoorDash ensures guests wanting AMC menu items can now have them conveniently delivered via DoorDash from 48 AMC dine-in locations directly to their home,” the company said in a press release.

“Popular home delivery items include AMC’s Perfectly Popcorn, nachos and even ICEEs,” the company said. Other items include Loaded Bacon Fries or Tots, fried mozzarella, chicken wings, chicken tenders, burgers, flatbread pizzas, and more.

Uber Eats currently delivers AMC food from AMC’s theaters that offer its “Feature Fare” menu items. Over the next few months, DoorDash will expand its service to all AMC U.S. locations as well. Menu items that will be available range from sliders and Bavarian Legend Pretzels to donut holes for dessert.

“Over the last decade, AMC’s significant investment in transforming and elevating the food and drink experience has revolutionized the phrase ‘movie theatre food,’ which in turn has led to many of our new offerings skyrocketing in popularity with moviegoers,” Mo Haq, AMC’s vice president of food and beverage operations, said in a statement.
