Chipotle will celebrate National Quesadilla Day with a digital scavenger hunt starting Sept. 23 that includes text-to-claim codes being dropped on its Instagram and X channels. Those codes will reward customers with buy-one-get-one-free quesadilla offers. Up to 21,000 customers will have the chance to win the BOGO offer.

Additionally, three TikTok creators, Shari Dyonne, Dylan McArthur, and Anthony Hernandez, will drop 10,000 text-to-win codes on their platforms that same day. Dyonne, McArthur, and Hernandez will also reveal their go-to quesadilla orders for their fans to try, and they have a lot of fans: Dyonne counts 1.1 million followers on TikTok, while McArthur has nearly 880,000, and Hernandez has 1.2 million.

National Quesadilla Day is actually Sept. 25, and the chain will also celebrate then by awarding 15,000 DoorDash users a free quesadilla with a minimum order of $25, while 10,000 UberEats users with a $15 cart minimum will be able to add a quesadilla to their basket for free. According to DoorDash, chicken quesadillas were the second most ordered food item in 2023.

“Our customizable hand-crafted quesadillas create the best pairing of real ingredients and melted cheese, which TikTok foodies and mukbangers can’t get enough of,” vice president of brand marketing Stephanie Perdue said in a statement. “We’ve teamed up with some of our most passionate creators to give fans what they’re craving – free quesadillas.”
