Chipotle Mexican Grill is adding a new line of certified organic lemonades and agua frescas to its menu this week as the brand continues to step up food and beverage innovation amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Following months of testing in 115 stores in Southern California, Atlanta and Chicago, Chipotle is rolling out organic beverages by Idaho-based Tractor Beverage Company, whose products can be found at Umami Burger and Garbanzo Mediterranean Fresh. Three flavors, including Black Tea, Lemonade and Hibiscus Lemonade, were created especially for Chipotle in what Tractor is calling a “dream” collaboration.
“We always had our eyes on Chipotle,” Tractor CEO Luke Emery told Nation’s Restaurant News.
