Roughly 78% of U.S. workers live paycheck to paycheck with 20% missing monthly payments on the smallest of bills, according to the latest research by employment website CareerBuilder.

“As an employer, your employees' financial problems become your financial problems," Rosemary Haefner, chief human resources officer for CareerBuilder, said about the company’s findings. “If workers are constantly thinking about their financial struggles, their quality of work can decrease, and it can take a hit on their morale and productivity.”
