Ken Kuick, chief financial officer at Noodles & Company, will be leaving the fast-casual brand to pursue other interests, the company said Monday. His last day will be Aug. 21.

“It has been a great pleasure to serve as CFO of Noodles & Company over the past two years,” Kuick said in a statement. “I have the utmost confidence in the brand, and I am grateful for the opportunity to work with one of the most dedicated teams in the restaurant industry.”

Kuick joined the restaurant chain in 2018, having previously worked for Caesars Entertainment and VICI Properties, a real-estate investment trust.

“Since joining Noodles in 2018, Ken has been a valuable member of our management team and we wish him well in his future endeavors,” said Noodles CEO Dave Boennighausen in a statement.

The company has begun a search for a new CFO, and said Kuick would be available to support the transition through at least Sept. 30.

Noodles & Company, based in Broomfield, Colo., has more than 450 units. In its latest quarter, the chain reported a 30.9% drop in systemwide same-store sales, but had seen sequential improvements in July.
