Noodles & Company has named Mike Hynes as its new chief financial officer, effective July 24. He replaces Carl Lukach, who announced his departure from the company in May.

Hynes has nearly 25 years of finance and accounting experience, including several roles at Ruth’s Hospitality Group, where he’s served since 2008. Most recently, he spent three years as vice president of finance and accounting for Ruth’s Chris, helping to lead the investor relations function and overseeing strategic financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, sales and restaurant expense analysis, as well as new restaurant financial site evaluation. Additionally, he continued to oversee accounting and financial reporting and treasury. Ruth’s Hospitality was recently acquired for $715 million by Darden Restaurants.

Before joining Ruth’s Chris, he held managerial positions in several accounting firms, including RSM and Deloitte, where he started his career in 1998.

Hynes is a Certified Public Accountant, holds a bachelor of science degree in Business Administration: Accounting from Auburn University as well as master of accountancy degree from The University of Georgia.
