In 2020, Noodles & Company’s plans to expand the number of restaurants with drive-thru pick up lanes, build smaller footprint stores and expand a direct delivery test to accommodate the chain’s growing off-premise business.
“We are leaning into the company's unique ability to make it easy for our guest to engage with us in a highly personalized manner, how, when and where they want,” CEO Dave Boennighausen told investors Wednesday afternoon during the company’s fourth quarter earnings call.
The company is also investing in new kitchen equipment to improve speed of service and reduce labor-intensive cooking complexities without sacrificing food quality.
