Stacy Peterson Androes, the chief revenue and technology officer at Wingstop Inc., will step down in December to become CEO at privately held company, the brand said in federal filings.

The Dallas-based chicken wing brand will be searching for a successor to Androes, who has served in the role since returning to the company in May 2020.

“We are proud of Stacy and wish her the best in her new role,” the company said in a statement. “We anticipate initiating a process around identifying the next leaders for technology and marketing. We have an incredibly strong team at Wingstop that we believe will continue to deliver industry-leading results.”

Androes returned to the company after leaving in 2019 to serve as chief information officer at Service King, a collision repair company based in Texas.

Prior to her first departure, she served at the company from 2013 to 2019 in technology-focused roles.

The company in its Securities and Exchange Commission filing said the resignation is effective Dec. 2.

For the third quarter ended Sept. 24, Wingstop’s net income was $13.4 million, or 45 cents a share, up from $11.3 million, or 38 cents a share, in the same period a year ago. Revenue in the third quarter rose 40.9% to $92.7 million from $65.8 million in the prior-year period.

As of Sept. 24, Wingstop had 1,898 restaurants systemwide. That included 1,673 restaurants in the United States, of which 1,631 were franchised restaurants and 42 were company-owned. The brand had 225 franchised restaurants in international markets.
