CARPINTERIA Calif. Carl’s Jr. said it is parlaying its Guacamole Bacon Six Dollar Burger into a line of sandwiches by adding single and double guacamole-and-bacon-topped versions of its standard burgers.

The single-patty Guacamole Bacon Burger is priced at $3.29, the two-patty version is offered for $4.29, and the Six Dollar variation, made with a Black Angus burger, is priced at $4.99. Each features two strips of bacon, two slices of pepper Jack cheese, Santa Fe sauce, red onions, tomato, lettuce and a seeded bun.

Carl’s Jr. operates or franchises 1,170 quick-service restaurants. The brand is owned by CKE Restaurants Inc., which also owns the Hardee’s concept.
