Bibimbap hits three trends that are popular right now: Korean flavors, meals served in bowls and customization. The rice bowl is mixed with a range of vegetables, beef, gochujang and soy sauce. While bibimbap is only found on 1 percent of U.S. restaurant menus, it has seen 12-percent growth in the past four years.
