ST. LOUIS Hardee's has introduced what may be the quick-service sector's first breakfast sandwich to feature turkey. The Breakfast Club Sandwich consists of roasted turkey breast, bacon, shaved ham, American cheese and a folded egg, all served on grilled sourdough bread.

The sandwich, a limited time offer expected to be sold until this October, sells for $2.59 a la carte or $3.99 as a combo with hash rounds and a beverage, such as a small coffee. An online coupon offers $1 off the sandwich through July 15.

Hardee's, a subsidiary of CKE Restaurants Inc. of Carpinteria, Calif., operates or franchises 1,906 units.
