SAN DIEGO Jack in the Box Inc. said Monday it has added a tropical flavor to its line of Real Fruit Smoothies.

Officials said the new Tropical Smoothie is made from a blend of banana and mango Minute Maid fruit juices and purees blended with nonfat frozen yogurt. Jack in the Box's other smoothie flavors include mango, pomegranate berry and strawberry-banana.

The Tropical Smoothie is available in 16- and 24-ounce servings for a suggested $2.99 and $3.99, respectively.

Jack in the Box operates or franchises 2,170 of the namesake brand in 18 states.
