SAN DIEGO Jack in the Box restaurants on Monday launched a two-for-$3 fish fillet sandwich deal to “throw consumers’ wallets a line.”

The limited-time offer includes two sandwiches, each with two crispy fish fillets, lettuce and tartar sauce on a warm jumbo bun for $3 at participating restaurants within the 2,170-unit quick-service chain.

“Many consumers are having a tough time staying afloat in this stormy economy,” said Teka O’Rourke, Jack in the Box director of menu marketing and promotions. “With value-priced deals like our two-for-$3 fish fillet sandwiches, we hope to provide some much-needed relief to our guests.”
