La Madeleine Country French Cafe introduced two salads to its summer menu this week.
The 60-unit fast-casual chain said the new salads are:
- Shrimp Salade Dijonnaise, which features chilled, roasted shrimp with dill, red peppers, mushrooms and celery on fresh spinach. It’s served with balsamic vinaigrette and a pesto cheese straw for $8.99.
- Citrus Bacon Salade, which features field greens topped with sliced strawberries, bacon, mandarin oranges, pineapple, roasted almonds and a balsamic vinaigrette. It’s served with a lemon madeleine for $7.99.
"These new options combine the season’s freshest ingredients with innovative flavor combinations," said Susan Dederen, director of culinary operations for La Madeleine. "Bacon continues to be an exciting culinary trend and our new Citrus Bacon Salade offers the perfect fusion of that smoky flavor with fresh-cut fruits."
La Madeleine has locations in Texas, Louisiana, Atlanta and Washington, D.C.
