SAN ANTONIO The 84-unit Souper Salad chain has added a variety of seafood options to its buffet for the Lenten season.

The chain's "Seaside Getaway" promotion features fish tacos, shrimp creole soup, seafood bisque, clam chowder, shrimp and crab Louie salad, and a Fisherman's Kettle Salad.

The promotional items, which are available through April 12, are included in Souper Salad’s all-you-can-eat price. Prices vary depending on the market, but the average price for a lunch buffet is $6.29 and the average price for dinner is $7.24.

Souper Salad Inc. also operates the 68-unit Grandy’s home-style chain, which is featuring a Lenten special of a half pound of spicy popcorn shrimp, two sides and a roll for $4.99
