Wingstop Restaurants has launched its first national promotion, a bundled-meal offer that will last through the Super Bowl in February.

All 463 locations of the Richardson, Texas-based Wingstop are offering 25- and 40-piece Boneless Blitz Bundles through Feb. 6.
The 25-piece bundle is priced $19.99 and includes three wing flavors, fries, veggie sticks, three dips and yeast rolls. The 40-piece is $29.99 and includes four flavors, four dips and more side dishes in larger sizes.

Wingstop is supporting the promotion with its first national television advertising as well as an e-mail campaign and in-store promotions.

Wingstop introduced boneless wings just over a year ago, and Andy Howard, Wingstop’s chief marketing officer, said about “20 percent of sales come from boneless wings, and football season seemed to be the right time to introduce bundles.”

Separately, Wingstop announced this week the hiring of David Vernon as vice president of franchise sales. Vernon most recently was vice president of sales at Sonic Corp. in Oklahoma City, Okla., and has held franchise positions at Brinker International, Pizza Inn Inc., USA Cafes and Signature Foods.

Roark Capital Group, a private-equity firm in Atlanta, acquired Wingstop earlier this year.
