CiCi’s Pizza, the buffet chain, has named two new vice presidents in its ongoing “Build the Brand” efforts.

Thomas McCord has joined the Coppell, Texas-based company as vice president of franchise development, succeeding Bruce Evans. And Geoff Goodman has been promoted to vice president of national brand excellence, succeeding Kyle Smith.

McCord has nearly 15 years of experience with Carlson Restaurants and Yum! Brands.

Goodman, a nearly five-year veteran at CiCi’s, was promoted from director of brand excellence and will be responsible for supporting franchisees. Quinn Newhall, a former CiCi’s franchisee, will step into Goodman's former role.

Mike Shumsky, CiCi’s chief executive, said in a statement that “2012 has been a pivotal year in CiCi’s growth” and that these changes are “key to our continued success.”

CiCi’s owns and franchises more than 500 restaurants in 34 states.
