Dave & Buster's Entertainment Inc., the big-box food and games brand, has launched a new marketing platform for the summer months, aimed at adult customers.

The Coppell, Texas-based brand, which also owns the Main Event concept, said it is is retiring its former tagline, “Ding, Ding, Ding!,” for the new “You Know You Want To.”

As a part of the new campaign, Dave & Buster’s is launching “The Dave & Buster’s Method,” a program designed to help adults unlearn what they thought they knew about adulthood and reprioritize what truly makes them happy, a spokesperson said.

As a limited-time introduction to “The D&B Method,” guests can play five free games with the purchase of a $20 or more Power Card.

To promote “The D&B Method,” Dave & Buster's enlisted the character James Flag as their fictional spokesperson. The character is featured in television spots that began airing on Tuesday.

The “Method” showcases a variety of in-store experiences as the parts of the fictional program designed for adults to “unlearn adulthood.”

Under chief marketing officer Ashley Zickefoose, who was formerly CMO of Main Event Entertainment, the adds will be posted across CTV, YouTube, Twitch, Roku, Meta, TikTok, and Search. Further extensions of the campaign will continue to roll out throughout the summer, a spokesperson said.
