Hooters launched four new burgers and sandwiches as part of its limited time offer for the fall.

The new menu items, which debuted Aug. 30, tie into the Atlanta-based casual-dining chain’s NFL Fantasy Football promotion and are available at all 460 Hooters’ restaurants through Dec. 5.

The new items are:

• Speedway Sandwich, a grilled chicken sandwich topped with bacon, cheddar cheese, tomatoes, green onions and barbecue sauce, served on a ciabatta roll

• BBQ Sandwich, Hooters BBQ pulled pork sandwich topped with coleslaw and onion tanglers on a ciabatta roll

• Baja Burger, an 8-ounce beef patty topped with lettuce, pico de gallo, jalapeños and ancho chipotle sauce

• Nacho Ordinary Burger, an 8-ounce patty topped with chili, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream.

The BBQ Sandwich is served with sweet potato fries, but the rest of the menu items come with a choice of baked beans, coleslaw or potato salad.

“For this fall menu, we developed some great tailgating classics,” said Scott Kinsey, Hooters’ corporate chef and director of research and development. “We also added the new [burger] offerings in [answer to] the ever-so popular burger craze. The four sandwiches really put some punch in our fall menu.”

The sandwiches are priced between $7.99 and $8.49 each.
