420 Cannabis holiday &Pizza
To kick-off Daze of Stonemas, &pizza has introduced a brand new Four for $20 Munchies Bundle that will include choice of pie, one order of knots, one drink and one dessert.

With more states legalizing retail sales of marijuana, 420 Day restaurant promotions aren’t as edgy as they once were. But they continue to smolder.

The term 420, of course, is cannabis culture slang for consumption — especially smoking — around the 4:20 pm. Cannabis-oriented celebrations take place each year on April 20.

We’ve weeded out some of the more interesting promotions this year.

Jimmy John’s

Jimmy John’s, the division of Inspire Brands LLC, is celebrating “the highest of unofficial holidays” with the Deliciously Dope Dime Bag, a $10 meal designed to quell the munchies and online available for online orders.

Jimmy John’s Deliciously Dope Dime Bag includes a ham and provolone sandwich topped with Jalapeño Ranch, XTRA Oregano-Basil, sliced pickles crispy jalapeños and f lettuce and tomato, alongside a spear of a fan-favorite Jimmy John’s pickle, a delectable Fudge Chocolate brownie, and a satisfying serving of Jimmy Chips.

The Deliciously Dope Dime Bag will be available for online order only at participating restaurants nationwide for $10 with the use of the promo code DIMEBAG. Some customers will be surprised with additional merchandise, “including a Jimmy John’s branded rolling tray (for catching crumbs from the chips, of course).”

&pizza

The Washington, D.C. based &pizza concept announced a week’s worth of deals and discounts. Dubbed Daze of Stonemas, the deals are designed to keep the holiday top‑of‑mind as 4/20 approaches, with special flash offers daily through Saturday. Deals and offers will be exclusive to Dead Presidents Club members, &pizza’s loyalty program, with one-time use coupons sent onto their smartphone app accounts and redeemable on the day issued.

To kick-off Daze of Stonemas, &pizza has introduced a brand new Four for $20 Munchies Bundle that will include choice of pie, one order of knots, one drink and one dessert. Flash deals for the week include:

-         Tuesday: 42.0% off any pie

-         Wednesday: $4.20 off one pie

-         Thursday: $4.20 garlic knots

-         Friday: $4.20 off orders of $20 or more

-         Saturday: $4.20 select pies all day with free &pizza rolling papers

"At &pizza, we recognize that our customers crave experiences that are not only enjoyable but also deeply personal and authentic,” said Patrick Barry, &Pizza’s senior vice president of marketing, in a statement. “With the Daze of Stonemas, we're not just offering a promotion—we're embracing the spirit of the ‘4/20’ holiday and providing a week-long celebration that caters to the tastes and passions of cannabis enthusiasts.”

&pizza has locations across the East Coast in Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Washington, D.C.

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, the division of Restaurant Brands International Inc., is offering a Munchies Menu through Saturday.

A $4.20 Chicken Sandwich deal and Munchies Menu offerings are available through the Popeyes smartphone app or at Popeyes.com for mobile order pickup and delivery.

As of Dec. 31, Popeyes had 3,394 restaurants in North America.

Insomnia Cookies

Philadelphia-based Insomnia Cookies’ is offering limited-edition 4/20 menu items as well inviting customers to upgrade their 4/20 munchies.

From Friday, April 19, to Sunday, April 21, customers can score a free Classic cookie with a $5 purchase in-store when they show the Insomnia Cookies App or online with any in-app delivery.

In-store customers can also trade a canned, packaged, or sealed food item that is within the best-by date for a warm, delicious Classic cookie. All food items collected will be donated to local food banks.

Insomnia Cookies has more than 265 locations nationwide.

Hopdoddy Burger Bar

In honor of 4/20, Austin, Texas-based Hopdoddy Burger Bar is offering the Wake & Bake Bowl and a Creamsicle Shake.

The shareable Wake & Bake Bowl features fries seasoned with taco spice, drizzled with queso, salsa verde and jalapeno ranch, then topped with chopped bacon, pickled jalapenos, cilantro and a sunny-side-up egg. Depending on the location, the Wake & Bake is $9 to $10 and $12-$14 with the shake.

The promotion runs from April 17 to April 21.

Hopdoddy has 47 locations in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Tennessee, and Texas.
