Taco Bell to the rescue! This month on the video version of Menu Tracker, senior food and beverage editor Bret Thorn was drowning in new items from Taco Bell. Thorn tried both the Beefy Crunch Burrito and the Volcano Taco from the quick-service restaurant chain. The Volcano Taco is an old menu item returning, while the Beefy Crunch Burrito is a collaboration between Taco Bell and Fritos — reminiscent of the long-standing collaboration between Taco Bell and Dorito’s that is the Doritos Taco.

Thorn also tried one of Subway’s new items meant to showcase their use of fresh-sliced meats. He tried the Garlic Roast Beef, one of four new sandwiches from the quick-service chain, which has moved away from customization and begun to lean into pre-made orders.

Watch the video above to find out what Thorn thought about all these foods and stay tuned for the next Menu Tracker video.
