Panera Bread Co. has rolled out a new salad and a frozen drink as part of a summer promotion scheduled to run until Sept. 14.

The Tomato, Mozzarella & Basil Salad features vine-ripened tomatoes marinated in balsamic vinaigrette with cucumbers, onions and fresh basil. They are teamed with bite-size pieces of mozzarella and Asiago croutons.

The bakery-cafe chain also debuted a Frozen Strawberry Lemonade and is bringing back the Strawberry Poppyseed & Chicken Salad for the summer.

Panera, which operates or franchises about 1,400 locations, recently started a video series on its Facebook page to introduce customers to the chefs behind its food. View it here.
