PORTLAND, ORE. Sodexho USA five years early. —Portland State University here has ended its contract with current foodservice provider

Aramark Corp. is to take over the contract, which Sodexho held for the past two years, on July 1. Aramark will pay Sodexho, as part of a buyout, for any remodeling or alterations the company made in the school’s food court during it’s tenure there. Julie North, director of Auxiliary Services for PSU, said the school elected to end the contract early because of “inconsistencies in general service, food quality and cost.” —Portland State University here has ended its contract with current foodservice provider

Aramark, which had been the school’s foodservice provider until 2005, was selected to replace Sodexho because it had been the second-place bid, North said. —Portland State University here has ended its contract with current foodservice provider
