MADISON Ga. Avado Brands, parent of the Don Pablo's and Hops casual-dining chains, has named Paul Seidman as senior vice president of research and development, purchasing and quality control. He will join the company April 2.
Seidman most recently was vice president of food and beverage procurement for Cosi Inc.
Avado Brands operates 95 Don Pablo's Mexican Kitchen restaurants and 22 Hops Restaurant and Brewery restaurants.
Raymond P. Barbrick, president and chief executive of Avado, said: "Paul is a strategic addition to our management team. His track record for his innovative menu development is among the best in the industry and his talents will be a big benefit for our restaurant brands."
