Brand updates technology and aims to add 3,000 new delivery drivers a month
Pizza Hut and its franchisees will hire about 3,000 new delivery drivers a month for the rest of the year and update its delivery technology, the company said Tuesday.
The Plano, Texas-based operator, a division of Yum! Brands Inc., said it expects the hiring blitz to bring in about 14,000 new drivers, including full- and part-time positions, to delivery fleets across its 6,300-unit U.S. system.
The hiring and technology efforts are aimed at improving delivery accuracy and reliability, Pizza Hut executives said.
