May was a big month for top-line executive moves across restaurant C-suites.

Pizza Hut, Wendy’s, Sbarro, and Aroma Joe’s all named presidents.

Multi-concept hospitality groups José Andrés Group and the newly created Cherry Bounce Hospitality group both named CEOs.

CEOs at Bloomin’ Brands and Donatos Pizza announced their retirements.

As the end of the second quarter approaches, will there me more executive changes in leadership?

Elsewhere, there were new chief marketing officers at Portillo’s, Pizza Hut, and Smashburger, and new chief people officers at Topgolf and KFC U.S.

Inspire Brands named a retail veteran its chief technology officer, Pizza Hut brought on PepsiCo talent for its global chief brand officer position, and KFC U.S. named a longtime Yum Brands international leader as its chief development officer.
