Last month, several restaurant CEOs turned over again, making this summer the time to change jobs as the head of a company.

Eight people were named or promoted to CEO across the industry, following two who were named to the position in July. The end of summer was a chance for new jobs with 33 executive appointments.

Pokeworks, TGI Fridays, Dog Haus, Black Rock Coffee Bar, Dutch Bros, Buddy’s Pizza, PDQ and Nothing Bundt Cakes all named CEOs in the month of August.

Little Caesars named joint presidents, while the president of Denny’s left his position, as did the North America president of Subway ahead of the brand’s sale.

Peter Piper Pizza named a new chief marketing officer.

There were board changes at the MFHA, McDonald’s and Bloomin’ Brands.
