Though Del Taco has not been impacted by the current coronavirus pandemic, CEO John Cappasola said the quick-service restaurant chain is well positioned for consumers who might want to access the brand through the drive-thru and delivery.
“We remain confident in our restaurant safety and sanitation protocols and believe that our drive-thru and delivery channels provide our guests options for limited interactions if they so choose,” the CEO told investors Thursday during the company’s fourth-quarter conference call. “We realize this is a fluid situation and are remaining nimble with our employees and guests at the forefront of our focus.”
