Domino’s Pizza has promoted Kate Trumbull from chief brand officer to executive vice president, global chief marketing officer, a position that has been vacant since Art D’Elia left to join Domino’s Pizza China in 2022.

“Kate has this remarkable ability to see and seize on those big picture zeitgeist moments, while also understanding the importance of the finer details that make great marketing resonate with people,” Domino’s CEO Russell Weiner said in a LinkedIn post about her promotion. “She has proven time and again, from campaigns like carryout tips and Emergency Pizza to leading innovations like loaded tots, New York Style Pizza, and mac and cheese, that her vision and leadership is driving the future of Domino’s.”

In her new position, Trumbull will oversee global marketing and continue to report to Joe Jordan, Domino’s president of U.S. and global services. Risa O'Hara and the international marketing team will now report to Trumbull.

"In all my roles at Domino's, I've learned so much from our franchisees, many of whom started as drivers or worked in-store," Trumbull said in a statement. "Their passion and commitment to the brand have directly influenced my marketing approach. I'm incredibly proud of the teams I've led, from loyalty to digital marketing to advertising and product innovation, as their work has played a key role in our ascent to becoming the No. 1 pizza company in the world."
