H-E-B, the supermarket chain, plans to open its 24th True Texas BBQ restaurant with the opening June 7 of a new store in Georgetown, Texas, the company has announced.

The San Antonio, Texas-based supermarket chain said the 121,000-square-foot, located in Wolf Lakes Village, will replace an existing location less than a mile away.

H-E-B debuted the first True Texas BBQ in 2014 in Pleasanton, Texas. All of its unit are in Texas.

The Georgetown location will have a two-story True Texas BBQ with a separate entrance and indoor seating on both levels, the company said. The restaurant also offers outdoor seating.

The design is patterned after a European village, which relates to the character of the surrounding neighborhood, and feature two entry towers and pedestrian-friendly surroundings. Georgetown is northeast of Austin, Texas.

The True Texas BBQ menu features smoked meats by the pound, sandwiches, plates and sides such as spicy cornbread, collard greens and brisket beans. Operating hours for most locations are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The new H-E-B store will replace a 67,000-square-foot store that opened in 1989. That location will remain operational until the new store opens.

“We are thrilled to bring a new H-E-B store to Georgetown, a growing community we’ve proudly been a part of for more than 55 years,” said Cathy Harm, H-E-B group vice president for central Texas, in a statement.

“We look forward to serving this community with a larger store that offers a wide assortment of products and services and ensuring that our long-time customers continue to enjoy the best of what H-E-B has to offer,” Harm said.
