Tiny Tacos, a new permanent menu item driving traffic at Jack in the Box, represents a pipeline of new products the brand plans to roll out in the next two years, CEO Lenny Comma said.

“It’s off to a very good start,” Comma told investors during the brand’s first quarter conference call Thursday morning.

The San Diego-based quick-service chain introduced the batch of mini tacos in January after testing last year. The item includes 15 Tiny Tacos for $3 or Loaded Tiny Tacos for $4. The loaded tacos are topped with cheese, lettuce, and taco sauce.

Comma said Tiny Tacos performs well on both value and addictive taste.

“They’re the type of food that you eat like potato chips. You can't just eat one,” he said.
