KFC is engaging in another one-day test of plant-based chicken. The Louisville, Ky.-based quick-service chain said the latest experiment, featuring a plant-based fried chicken sandwich and popcorn chicken, will occur Wednesday, Nov. 27, in Canada.

The test, scheduled for a store in Mississauga, Ontario, differs from the company’s Atlanta test this past summer. At that location, the company sold plant-based chicken nuggets and boneless wings by Beyond Meat and sold out in five hours. On Wednesday, KFC is trying a different product, Lightlife by Greenleaf Foods, SPC. The Indiana supplier is known for its Lightlife burgers and sausages.

“We’re proud to join forces with KFC to bring Canadians a plant-based chicken with incredible taste,” Dan Curtin, president and CEO of Greenleaf Foods, said in a statement. “With pioneering partners like KFC, we can make plant-based foods more broadly available to the growing number of consumers seeking the option on the go.”

The sandwich, which is available in regular or spicy, will be available for $6.99. The popcorn chicken bucket starts at $3.99.

A&W has also partnered with Greenleaf to offer plant-based chicken-flavored nuggets at select locations in Ontario and British Columbia. That product will be available while supplies last starting Dec. 2.
