McDonald’s Corp. announced leadership changes and promotions among its global and U.S. marketing teams with the departure of Colin Mitchell, senior vice president of global marketing. 

Mitchell, in the position for four years, “has decided now is the time to leave McDonald’s in search of a new challenge,” President and CEO Chris Kempczinski said in a statement released Tuesday.

Mitchell’s exit has led to the promotions of "the most respected marketers in the industry to accelerate our recovery from the crisis, Alistair Macrow and Morgan Flatley,” Kempczinski said.
