McDonald’s USA LLC plans to debut a new limited-time Chocolatey Pretzel McFlurry nationwide on May 25, the company said Wednesday.

The Chicago-based burger brand said the chocolate-pretzel McFlurry is the first new flavor of the year and will be available at participating restaurants

The offering features vanilla soft serve that is mixed with chocolate-covered pretzel bits and topped with a caramel swirl  – combining salty and sweet flavors.

McDonald’s said it will continue to offer the Oreo and M&Ms McFlurry flavors. The company did not offer suggested pricing on the limited-time item by press time, but it did note that it could be higher for delivery than if purchased in the restaurants.

The company also suggested pairing the Chocolately Pretzel McFlurry with a warm apple pie or chocolate chip cookie or using it as a dip for fries or a Big Mac.

McDonald’s USA has about 13,500 U.S. restaurants, with about 95% of those franchised.
