Taco Bell’s menu has always come with a Mexican food-inspired twist. Fans flock to restaurants for Chalupas and Doritos Locos Tacos – items that can’t be found at any other quick-service brand.

Yet, up until a few years ago, the brand’s restaurants have remained relatively cookie cutter, adopting standardized decor common among fast food chains.

On Thursday, the Irvine, Calif. based quick-service chain announced plans to shake up the look – and more importantly the customer experience – found inside its restaurants. Taco Bell plans to open a new “fast social” restaurant in California that will have stadium-style seating for gaming fans.
