As part of White Castle’s year-long celebration of its 100th year in business, the quick-service chain this week unveiled its latest uniform collaboration with fashion brand Telfar. All 10,000 team members across the Columbus, Ohio-based company’s 360 units will receive the uniforms designed by the New York City fashion house. There is also a consumer-facing collection for sale.

“Telfar has taken our uniform to a new place, creating something that’s distinctive, attractive and comfortable, and something our team members will feel great in whether they’re at work or hanging out with friends and family,” said Jamie Richardson, a vice president at White Castle, in a statement.

Pieces in the new uniform include a T-shirt, polo shirt, apron, visor and durag, all in light blue, royal blue or black. Each piece features the brand name with references to the family-owned chain celebrating 100 years “and counting.”

The durag — a first for the quick-service brand — was added to the uniform collection after employees requested it en masse.

Along with the new uniforms, Telfar and White Castle are releasing a clothing line available for consumers to purchase that includes hats, hoodies and T-shirts that feature a mashup of White Castle’s and Telfar’s logos.

This collection is the fourth from these two brands since their initial collaboration in 2017, and will likely not be the last.

“White Castle supported us before our success and we consider them family,” Babak Radboy, Telfar’s creative director, said. “[White Castle is] still the only thing open after midnight in Telfar’s hood — seeing our uniforms there means something to us, and so we take it personally.”
