Zaxby’s Operating Co. L.P. has promoted Keith Anderkin to the new position of chief supply chain officer, the company said Tuesday.

The Athens, Ga.- based quick-service chicken brand said Anderkin started at Zaxby’s as vice president of supply chain and quality assurance in June 2020.

“My goal is to help lay the foundation for a world-class supply chain that will sustain Zaxby’s mission for years to come to support growth and help establish Zaxby’s as a franchisor of choice,” Anderkin said in a statement.

Prior to joining Zaxby’s, Anderkin worked with Long John Silver’s, Arby’s and Fazoli’s.

“Keith always shows up as a servant leader and is a very positive influence within the organization, constantly striving to develop and mentor his team,” said David Waters, Zaxby’s chief operating officer. “His ability to foster relationships with vendors and franchisees is key to maintaining the culture of Zaxby’s brand.”

In late 2020, Goldman Sachs Merchant Banking Division acquired a “significant stake” in Zaxby’s Operating Co.

Zaxby’s, founded in 1990, has more than 900 locations in 17 states.
